In this episode, I had the pleasure to speak with Juan Maya Hernandez @jmayaher an immigrant entrepreneur and speaker. It was years of struggling to find opportunities, working as a day laborer, juggling freelance photography, and his inability to pay for school expenses that motivated him to embark on a path in entrepreneurship. Maya was Non-DACA for 18 years until July of 2021 when he got accepted for DACA. Currently, he is going into his fifth year at UCLA. Hope you love the episode as much as I enjoyed recording it!

By helping companies hire, they amplify job opportunities in overlooked communities. Corina shares her journey with us from being born in Mexico, to a news reporter on Telemundo, to helping create the Chamba app. We discuss the information needed to use the Chamba app if undocumented folks can use it, and all about being an entrepreneur.
