Hey there welcome to my page, I’m your host Kevin Muñoz and here’s a little bit about myself.

I am a proud DACA recipient. I was born in Guatemala. My family and I immigrated to the U.S. in 2002 when I was 7 years old. In search of work, we hopped around states like California and Colorado until we finally made the beautiful garden state of New Jersey Our home.

My parents worked hard to provide a life for my sister and I that they wish they had. It was thanks to their numerous sacrifices that we were able to get a great education. However, we quickly realized the lack of resources for immigrants like ourselves when we applied for colleges. I created “The Latin American Educational Opportunities Podcast” (or LEO for short) to better educate a community unable to access financial advice and educational resources, Both of which are common roadblocks in the Hispanic community to purchasing and preserving assets as well as building wealth.

Hola bienvenido a mi pagina , soy tu host Kevin Muñoz y aquí está un poco sobre mí.

Soy un orgulloso beneficiario de DACA. Nací en Guatemala. Mi familia y yo emigramos a los Estados Unidos en el 2002 cuando tenia 7 años. En busca de trabajo, recorrimos estados como California y Colorado hasta que finalmente hicimos el hermoso jardín del estado de Nueva Jersey Nuestro hogar. Como muchos padres de emigrantes. Mis padres también trabajaron duro para poder darnos a mi hermana y yo oportunidades que ellos no pudieron tener. Fue gracias a sus numerosos sacrificios que pudimos obtener una gran educación.

Pero rápidamente nos dimos cuenta de la falta de recursos para inmigrantes cuando mi hermana y yo solicitamos admisión a las universidades. Creé el podcast “The Latin American Educational Opportunities podcast” (o LEO para abreviar) para educar mejor a una comunidad que no puede acceder a consejos financieros y recursos educativos, los cuales son obstáculos comunes en la comunidad hispana para comprar y preservar bienes, así como para generar riqueza. Espero que con la ayuda sobre los temas que más les interesan y mi voz podamos derribar algunas barreras dentro de nuestra comunidad.
