In today’s episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Pedro Hernandez, a fellow DACA recipient, with a Master of Science in Social work. He is currently a Licensed Master’s Social Worker and a third-year doctoral student at Our Lady of the Lake University where he is doing research on immigration, DACA, and healthcare disparities in minority communities. 

In addition, he is also a member of the Society for Social Work and Research, part of the OLLU LGBTQ Alliance, and Ph.D. Pre-Health Dreamers. As well as an active volunteer at the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, Inc.
